i really learnt a lot in this short period of time.

you know like during this phase of my life, when i'm going through quite a bit of hardship, i've really learnt how to trust in God.. and ultimately how to rely on His strength. i guess it's always easy to say how much i want to lean on Him, but i always just end up depending on myself. and like how i always prayed as though it's all about Him, but actually i behave like it's all about me.

what i experienced during this period:
1. the amazing grace of God that motivated me to study.
i always knew i was supposed to honour God in my studies, and i always prayed that i'll have the motivation to study, the ability to do well, and just productive study. but i guess i never exactly relied on God. and just leaning on His strength, today was incredible. i studied for idk good gazillion bahzillion hours at my dad's workplace and i really THANK GOD for it.

2. to bring people back to Him
i guess the importance on evangelism has been repeated so many times but it sort of became an "one ear in, one ear out" sort of thing. but when my faith was SO reassured and SO refreshed during this period, it sort of reminded me the urgency of how i need to get the people around me saved. ESPECIALLY since the end times is near. it's super terrifying i tell you and I DO NOT WANT ANYONE and i don't just mean my loved ones, i mean REALLY ANYONE OR EVERYONE, to die without experiencing the goodness of the Lord.

3. the magnificent love of God
i cry easily. but i thank God that i have my lovely friends to ALWAYS comfort me, to ALWAYS lend me their shoulders, to ALWAYS listen to my woes, to ALWAYS give me a tight furry bear hug, to ALWAYS pray for me, to ALWAYS encourage me, to ALWAYS reassure me that i can count on them to help me through my difficult times, to ALWAYS give me words of encouragement, to JUST ALWAYS LOVE ME. and i'm so blessed in this aspect, i've all of you darling friends who just stand by me and i can't express how much i appreciate all of you. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU. God's been so good to me. friends are one of God's ways to show His love.

and through this whole rough patch, I KNOW MY GOD IS GREATER THAN ANY SITUATION, THAN ANY CIRCUMSTANCE, THAN ANY PERSECUTION, THAN ANY CONDEMNATIONS, THAN ANY DIFFICULTY I'M FACING. maybe that's why God even placed me in this whole situation in the first place. i never trusted or relied in Him enough last time. i kept trusting my own abilities.

thank you God.

why isn't it a compliment if i call a guy cute?

anyhoo, i was nearly late for church today!! 5 cabs stopped right in front of me, giving me false hope, before telling me they do not want to send me to adam. super rejected. but i'm so thankful for the 6th cab that brought me to church even though his original destination was tampines. i like that uncle, he's cute hehe. okay maybe cute is a wrong word because bro chiangwee thinks it's not a compliment haha. he's... adorable. i can't think of a better word. he's this old man that speaks pretty slowly idk hahaha i want to pinch his cheeks.

definytion kick started today and i guess it wasn't that bad. had dinner at mad jack yipee dee dooo dahhh dayyyy!! i'm still a little hungry though. seriously have no idea what's wrong with my appetite. it's like there's a monster inside gobbling my food so i never do really feel full. so i just eat and binge and eat and binge and that explains why i've been gaining so much weight. BOOHOOOOO.

getting a massage which i will find horribly ticklish..

and what else fun?

maybe sometimes i'm too full of self-pity.

but i'm thankful for all the friends i have. and every single time i think of how blessed i am, i really can't ask for more. i just tweeted about failing my paper and yes i was seriously upset, but i didn't expect sweet messages to start rolling in. i am beyond touched and am truly sincerely thankful and appreciative of all the friends i have. can never ever take you guys for granted. YOU GUYS DA BEZ.

anyway i know i cry very easily but believe it or not, usually the tears just roll out themselves. i mean i seriously really dislike crying (in front of people) because of all the unnecessary attention and worry i'll get so it suck to show how vulnerable i actually am. and today upon receiving back my phan results (which i failed by the way), i cried. no surprise i know i know hahaha, but seriously, flunking a module which carries the highest credit is no joke. and i took my phone out and saw "Blessed are those who mourn; for they will be comforted. Matthew 5:4". then i realised how timely God is. He always gives me these little hints and motivations in life to encourage me.

Felt a lot better after that :)

school reopens tomorrow and i don't like the sound of that. okay hahaha, who does? but on the bright side, it's only 2 hours of IB and i get to go home! not that mentally taxing so i guess i should be happy with that?

hmm i've IB reflection journal to submit tomorrow and there's so many things (all lies actually) to write! no way can i fit it under 300-400 words. so sucky hahaha they always give word counts so low and make it seem like it's actually a really easy task. nice disguise. i spend way more time summarising.

God did something so amazing i'm still very much in awe. i honestly feel that i'm super undeserving for God's love because He's just so perfect while i'm just.. a sinful being. but His grace is always flowing and never ending and it's pouring over me. i love this feeling. i love it when God feels super close to me like He's guiding my path 'cause usually i can just sense Him but i can't really.. get absorbed by the whole atmosphere.

adoration and appreciation.

indeed sometimes it's better to be pessimistic so that you can be pleasantly surprised, rather than be optimistic and be gravely disappointed hehe. p/s i get to go for cell outing hehe :)

these few days have been eventful and though it might seem it's more tiring to catch up with my social life, i know it's a lot more meaningful than just facing those inanimate books.

what happened:
friday - hunt for picnic basket + mrs ho's birthday surprise
saturday - baking with guiyan + service + deliver brownies to nj
sunday - beloved sister's 21st yacht party

and just today.. we gave kai a mini surprise at his school and i'm so glad everything went well. had dinner at NYNY mhmm yum yum. chit chat by the esplanade in the night and i'll get the pictures from may asap! :)

life after CTs has been DA BOMB and i'll never want to give it up. lol of course i have to (back to reality).

yes finally! though i messed up a little here and there, i know there's no point crying over spilled milk.. i try okay hahaha, it's hard not to brood over it when it cost me so many marks.

anyway i went out to town after school hoping to find some good steals because it's GSS and seriously i was waiting excruciatingly long for my exams to be over just for this! but i didn't find anything i like and neither did yamz. disappointed so i wanted to cheer myself up with mani but ugh the lady did my nails so sloppily so it's double disappointment hahaha.

oh well :) perk: celebrating mrs ho's birthday tomorrow! gonna see her twins i can't wait! + we're going to surprise here i can almost imagine her astonishment.

today's service was so good. felt so reconnected to God and it's really been a long time since i've felt His presence this thick. and during worship.. his presence was just amplifying and amplifying and amplifying i could just break out into tears. He brought my faith back up.

felt immense calmness and yet moved at the same time gahhhh i don't know how to put it in words but it was incredible. God's so real.

studied in school alone for a few hours before song joined me. i think i can safely say it's productive because i usually don't even want to touch my notes hahaha. immuno's giving me such a headache though, i'm not sure if i can finish it in time but oh well i'm never prepared for any paper anyway.

ok then song came and he left and he came back with sushi! haven't seen him in such a while and it really does feel super good to be catching up.. chatting.. even if it means sacrificing my study time hehe. + i guess i had a mini htht with him i never thought i'd ever have with him.

i finally got 100 songs (after illegal means) into my phone which is only 532mb.. when m1 gave me a free 8gb sd card hahaha, feel like i'm wasting the space so i've been a pirate for last hour.. if you guys get what i mean. i don't want to say it directly because, well, what if cyber police catches me??

hasn't stopped liking this song since the first time i heard it. it's amazing.

anyway, there's no school for me on both tomorrow and thurs! :):) i really think God's so amazing because i was just praying for more time to study and catch up with my work and God just did something so incredible. now that there's no school on 2 days, i should seriously make the best out of it and mug till i throw up my wits on my papers this coming week.

anyway yesterday marks the end of this insane week!! celebration: cell bbq which was really fab. really thank God that this shift wasn't very difficult for me.. and like at least my cell members are really friendly + sociable. less awkward hahaha.

so CTs are in a week or so and i really should start studying. but i can't help but rejoice over the end of 4 tests 1 presentation 1 report hehehehe it's like i survived world war 3.

haha it's so sucky that i'm gaining so much weight. but i've a reason to binge - late night studying. i need to keep awake!!

i've my last 2 tests tomorrow and i really don't want to fail it. and it's not just about passing it, it's about doing fairly well. i don't need an A, that's too greedy according to where i'm standing now. but i'm desperately hoping for a min. B and if by some miracles it's possible, a B+.

because scoring 70% is just 3.0 GPA which is quite pathetic. then again, my GPA isn't even 3. i honestly think i'm last in class right now :/ can you imagine if i get 60% which is a C and then my GPA will be 2.0?? ugh so horrible.

immuno isn't my best sub, and i'm too distracted to study. i feel like i'm wasting time in school, i really do think that way. because i can be out there working and earning bucks for myself to spend, rather than to torture myself through this life i find meaningless. but this society is all about papers. it's all about looking at what qualifications you hold. they judge you not by your abilities, but by your grades. sad but true.

sigh but it's not like i'll drop out of school. what good will i bring to myself if i dropout now. i wasted a year and a half for nothing. might as well continue this painful journey and at least graduate with a decent diploma. and well i'm at it, i might as well get a GPA of at least 3.2. i'm bent on working hard because after today's talk on Branding Me (this talk that's supposed to help you discover yourself and your strengths blahblahblah), i'm feeling a lil bit more motivated.

i really seriously DO NOT want to waste anymore time in poly. because if i graduate with a GPA that's less than 3, it means i've been going through this miserable tormet for nothing. because no one cares about your dip too actually, THEY NEED THE FIGURES. they need your GRADES, need i emphasise again?

the society is so harsh right now. can't believe how realistic this world is.

sorry i'm just ranting on and on because i really need an escape from my notes. i've been facing it for too long and nothing and I MEAN NOTHING is getting (or maybe got) in my head.

it's crazy. and exams are in about slightly more than 2 weeks' time but i'm not the least prepared. i know i always say that, but it's true. i'm never prepared.

giving cell meeting a miss today because i've a report to complete. + write my script for tomorrow's presentation. i'm seriously glad that tomorrow's friday, finally the end of a busy week.. and not to mention, tiring.

things that happened today:

#1 i had a field trip to little india.
- i did henna (it's super pretty)
- fell in love with indian ethnic costumes... again.
- found out that my ISI teacher got a bachelor when she was only 19
- she was a lecturer at 19

(and what will i be doing at 19? hmm ok still studying my life out hahaha)

#2 i went for vball training
- it was slack, so it's fun hehehe we played matches
- i was open spiker today and the guys didn't trust me enough to set any balls for me
- but i'm quite relieved because i know i'll fail ultimately
- played like 4 matches, so shiokkkkkkkkk

#3 bus ride back home
- saw my ISI classmate and he sat next to me
- this aunty started preaching about buddhism
- felt so awkward but he (i forgot his name lolol) was so brave
- revealed our identities in Christ but the woman just kept babbling
- but she's friendly though

(it's hard to grasp isn't it? the whole concept of evangelism. because i've never come across this sort of situation and it's kind of the 'appropriate' time to share about Christ but i was too timid. Mr. What's-His-Name on the other hand handled it so well i feel a little ashamed of myself... :/)

okay sorry for the lack of updates guys, school's been taking a toll on me, and it's still taking. i wonder if i can really cope this sem but i have to, it's not a choice.

i really messed up during practical, and my lecturer... just seem to hate me even more than before. i just get the feeling of her wanting to shoot poison darts at me, but since it's obviously illicit, she did it mentally. but i could feel it. felt like hiding into a hole but gahhhh :/ my bad for laughing in her class.. playing around.. not paying attention.. and ultimately not following the protocol for the experiment.

met up with natasha after school before we went for training and we played taboo with a few of her friends. sort of brought my mood back up :):)

P(me getting into team) = 0 but i don't know why i don't feel as affected as last week haha. OHHHH but then again the coach put me as libero and i'm superrrrr elated about it. i just felt like skipping around. i like being a libero so so much hahaha, though my receiving is still quite.... :/

but it's okay, it might be a good thing that i'm not in the team. you know, like i can concentrate and pull my pathetically low grades up hahaha.

it's 1:54 and i can't fall asleep. i've a long day ahead tomorrow and i can't afford to be tired because i've yet to study for a test on tuesday. but my body isn't cooperating with me and it sucks.

insomnia.

i used to be the one that sleeps at 11 sharp, maybe even earlier. and i seriously don't like this feeling of being up so late. it's eerily dark and i'm just too paranoid. it feels like there are paranormal eyes staring straight down at me and shoot, that thought just gave me the coldest chills. i scare myself too often, especially when darkness falls.

i've a presentation tomorrow. am i too worried for it? ha, obviously not. i've my entire script typed out so what's there to be apprehensive about? i don't know, all i want now is sleep. but that's not my body wants. it wants to play, i'm wide awake. so awake you wouldn't believe anyone would be at this unearthly hour.

to think of it, i'm actually quite hungry. but i'm too cowardice to leave my well-lit room and enter the realm of complete darkness to search for food.

accomplishment this week: i spent <20 bucks

my muscles are so sore right now but i like this ache. but i'm not sure if the pain will be gone by saturday. imagine running 5km with immense pain from your muscle with every step you take, ouch. it hurts when i climb up the stairs.

but i still like it because it shows i've stretched/exercised. feels great :):)

so it's granny birthday dinner tonight, which means i've to give ignyte tertiary gathering a miss. it's pretty sad because i missed blueprint already, sort of didn't want to miss another event but oh well. on a happier note, buffet dinner!!

my sister bought her boyfriend a braun buffel wallet and it still blows my mind when i think of the price of that black piece of leather. will i ever spend so much for someone in future? ha ha ha i highly doubt so. but then again, they say love is blind. will it make one financially-blind?

skipped church today because i was still at town after 4+. decided to give it a miss, which means i've got to wake up early tomorrow. i shouldn't complain, i chose to skip it myself :/

#1 hoodie, since i've 3 hours in the same room. you know it'll be cold. no, scratch that. it'll be frrrrrrrrrrrreezing.
#2 lab coat, for an obvious reason. i've lab session.
#3 sports attire, i'm considering going for volleyball training (again..... 3rd time in a week, and it's only wednesday, but no regrets!!)
#4 sports shoes, yeah you know why.

and lappy. that heavy thang. well to keep myself entertained for the 2 hour break i have. OR... i can try to finish my book. wait, reading sounds like a better plan. one, it's a whole lot lighter than my laptop. two, it's a lot more interesting than switching tabs from twitter to facebook and back to twitter repeatedly, even though no one has updated their statuses.

i just got back from volleyball training, well sort of just.. maybe like half an hour ago? doesn't matter anyway.

it was full of awkwardness but i really got to thank leenz for helping me ease the tension and everything. i'm going again tomorrow because sandy phoned me just to ask if i'm going!! beyond touched, though it's just a call. it's been more than a year since i played with them. dangggggg, can't wait!!

tomorrow's lessons are from 9-5, with only an hour break in between. i know i won't survive. i know i'll sleep, what's new anyway? but in my school-just-started-so-i-shall-be-obedient attitude, i shall attempt to stay awake. which means, i need munchies.. and snacks during class = $$$.

school was exhausting. had pharm-azing race with the freshies in the morning and that's all the fun i had. it was lessons till 5 after that. my lecturer for MCDD seem really nice though, hopefully it's not because it's just the first day.

it's too fast. i'm gonna have juniors in ngee ann and i can still vividly remember how much i enjoyed myself in FOC. it doesn't feel like a year, but certainly a year has passed. FOC.. honestly night walk wasn't that scary okay. i think i totally freaked and frightened myself out. but i'm afraid of the dark, can't help it. a huge part of me sort of regretted not completing the walk, but yet.. well it's over. i'm such a coward hahahahaha.

i'm still deciding if i should join npvb. i know i'm like taking forever to come to a decision. i asked leenz about it and she said they'll be teaching the juniors how to play vball right now so i shouldn't.. well at least not till a later point of time. but my skills are so rusty i think i need those trainings hahaha. i'm actually quite excited to join now because quite a few of my vball juniors are in np and are actually considering to join vball. if i can play with them again, it's like reliving 2009.

happy note: i bought my running shoes!! of course i've to pay my dad back the money but that's besides the point. it's not the one i was eyeing at because it was no longer in stock :( but this purple pair of shoes is beyond beautiful and striking. i can't wait to run in them. speaking (okay maybe typing if you're insistent about using the right words...) of running... i nearly died jogging 2km today. i'm quite ashamed about how much my stamina has weakened. plus, i've a 5km and 10km run coming up. and the 5km is less than a month away. 20 days to be exact.

hmm.. i'll be in for struggles.

frankly i'm very disgusted at how very unfit i am right now. but i never do get motivated to exercise. gone are the days when i'm in a sport cca. trainings would have helped me lose a lot, and yes i mean a whole lot, of weight. and i wouldn't have gained 7 freaking kg in poly.

time's like flying during the last week of holiday. i can't believe it's already friday tomorrow. it feels like just yesterday i was standing at the altar, just soaking the presence of God. in a way it's a good thing 'cause sat's a day nearer! :) can't wait to see ignyte worship taking a whole new level.

oh, and in my neighbourhood, they just opened another 24 hour coffee shop. and by another, i mean the 3rd one. and it's crazy, because if they keep opening all these coffee shops, i'll never be able to resist late night eating. + this time, it's a whole lot nearer. it's like less than a 5min walk from my flat. i don't want to imagine how my weight's gonna elevate from now on.

okay this time's for real. i'm officially going to try out for worship min. sis v is gonna tell sis elaine about it and i'm really nervous, yet at the same time excited. serving the Lord should be a joyful thing :) sis v said they're gonna look more into my walk with God and all so i really don't know.. faith's been quite fluctuating. pray i'll do fine though.

(+ like as each day goes by, i keep thinking my voice is weakening. so it gets less powerful and pleasing every time i hear it, and i'm really lacking confidence now.. so i'm really gonna just see God's plans in me and if He thinks worship isn't the way for me to go then i'm gonna serve in CH.)

i can see it. ignyte rising up to be a generation for His purpose. and today during service, God's presence was just so thick and overpowering. full surrender in worship. it's just between me and God.

we had our sermon at the altar today. it was a cool difference. we didn't have the comfort of our seats, but we were more focused that way. listening more intently. and God's going to touch so so many lives this easter, i know it.

looks like ignyte's gonna undergo some changes.. especially at adam. i can't wait, especially during p&w :') He's going to work through us.

it sucks doesn't it? when you're having all these rapid flashbacks of moments you thought would last forever. but yet in a snap, it's over. everything's over.

it didn't sink it at first. i was still in disbelief. but how can i not come to the point of acceptance after so many months? the harsh reality sinks in and darts of pain just shoot through me, and my heart. it would have been easier to bear if it's physical pain, but no. i'm abusing myself emotionally. (seriously i should stop listening to lugubrious songs because it's really not helping.)

i thought i'll be stronger. never knew i'll let myself give way just like that. you had things going, way too fast. i can't keep up with speed, i can't keep up with myself. chasing and chasing.. i'm not caught yet.

they said time heals everything, they certainly do not know you. time? how long will it take? move on? you never taught me how to. i don't mean to drag things on, but i can't seem to let go of everything yet. i tried to carry on like i never knew you. i thought i succeeded in convincing myself that i was completely over you. thought. perhaps i had you etched too deep in my mind.

i should have known better. i wasn't ready at all. you sucked me into this black hole, this bottomless pit of no return. i don't even know how to get back up. i tried ignored every ache at every flashback, but it's too painful to handle.

i think i'm super blessed to have such cute friends around me.

so like on twitter i was asking if i should get a new phone or a new pair of running shoes. and i honestly didn't expect so many people to reply it!! haha, it was sort of just a battle with myself inside my mind.

but ok, so because of that tweet, yammy specially called me just to persuade me to get a new phone.. listing the pros (no cons, only pros!! hahahaha) and emphasising it's more important than shoes.

so today i went for cleo's youth service which was awesome, and it was on evangelism (well ok she's from lighthouse evangelism hehe) but that doesn't mean that's all they preach about of course!!

note to self: got to step out of my comfort zone.

but anyway after that i went to kai's place, which was amazing because i had such a good time there. but "all good things come to an end" so ok while we were at the bus stop, i told my homies that i'll walk home from beatty and they were all so concerned about me hahaha 'cause #1 it's late, #2 it's far.

they are so sincere, but hey guys i'm safe now!! hehehe <3

so kai didn't make crumble but that's ok. we had pizza delivery :) and kai's bed is so comfy i fell asleep (so sorry hahaha).. but it's also because it was getting late.. like 10 odd and they were watching despicable me. p/s that's a fab movie!!

k it's 1.51 and i think insomnia really struck me this time. i'm the kind of girl that usually sleeps by midnight (hahaha usually 11).. but i've no idea why i can't sleep. i've been rolling on my bed for quite some time so i give up. i'm just going to use my lappy till lethargy hits me.

went to SPCA with yingz yesterday, boy do i miss those animals (though storm isn't there anymore...)

anyway i've been thinking about travelling. and i think my course doesn't give me much options when it comes to trips abroad, apart from asia asia and even more regional areas. which is, pretty boring hahahaha.

i want to go like germany.. or czech.. or wherever my cool jc friends have gone because their schools give them such great opportunities. p/s they even have trips to south africa and switzerland. i'm dying already omgee.

mr tour guide which is really the cutest with his broken english hehe. but at least we can still understand whatever he wants to convey ok!

batam was simply amazing, i learnt so so much.. from the kids mainly. the joy they exude despite being orphans, it's heartwarming. the way they are so easily contented, i feel guilty for wanting too much. their living conditions, a far cry from what it is in singapore, i can't even imagine myself staying in such an environment. i'm too pampered.

incidents that touched me:
#1 performance by the kids at Betesda
#2 when the little girl that's no even 8 prayed for everyone
#3 when this 12 years old girl prayed for me
#4 singing p&w with the kids
#5 their trust in God
#6 receiving 4 kisses from the kids at Gracia (ok i asked for 3 of them.)
#7 the kids' smile
#8 the kids' appreciation for something very simple (like milo)
#9 the girl at viran that gave me the tightest hug
#10 how the kids don't actually feel like they're less fortunate.

emotional part aside, i think i was overly exuberant during the trip. laughed so hard i totally ignored my image hahaha, but oh well. plus, jas kept making me paranoid because ALL HER ACTIONS makes me feel like she was going to tickle me, or somewhere along that line. i had to be on my guard!!

i think we played pool every night, did we? alright, almost. then weijie and kidman came over to chill a little too. oh we watched Solitary on friday night which was so interesting hehe. and yes, they DO have channel 5 and 8 over there, the reception ain't that bad. (oh we have wifi at the lobby too!)

hmm jas and i had batam boyfriends hahahaha, ok people it's a joke. come on.. and kidman totally proved the theory "love cannot be forced" HAHAHAHA.

i don't like wrecking my brains to try recalling what exactly happened, i'm sorry. i'll end it here hahaha. but batam trip inspired me a whole lot.

celebrated a few march babies' birthdays (surprise surprise!!) at fish & co, which was really fab. things sort of mess up a lil but we managed to salvage it in the end!! :)

shared swiss fish and chips with may because we both had terribly late lunch hahaha, at about 330? separately though, pure coincidence.

didn't hang at dempsey as planned but instead, at s*cape.. which was, not very appealing to me because it was full of rowdy people. and, they don't look very amicable. something like bugis? not my sort of hang-out place. but of course having simple talks with my best buds is what's most important, and it was beyond great :')

walked from somerset to dhoby and we all took a train home. had an amazing time with my bunch of close friends, and there's nothing more i could ask for.

p/s i don't know why my hair's in such a mess in the last photo!! must be throwing a fit, pfft.

it pains me to see such a large-scale disaster. so massive, so ominous, so devastating, so painful, so frightening, so unbelievable, so..

i really don't know how much you guys actually care about what's going on in the world. but hopefully something's pricking your conscience while reading this so you can wake up and bother about what's happening around you while you're sitting down at your comfort seat reading this (while i'm typing this). can you really be that apathetic?

because the world can never get enough help. and these countries, you know, they don't deserve it. but nature's nature and nature gotta do what nature gotta do. if it wants to destroy, then there's no stopping it. but i'm sure lending a helping hand won't kill. of course you don't have to be physically there you know, but i'm sure you can take a tad sum of your savings for donation? it won't kill, i assure you.

i was a little drawn back about donating my miserly amount of money at first, but kenwoo reminded me the real purpose behind it. no matter how small the amount is, i'm sure they can do big great things with it. and those lives, they'll appreciate every dollar, every cent given to them, to pull them through this hurdle.

guys i know no matter how much i say (or rather type), it'll never suffice up to the agony and torments those victims are going through. it's action that counts. and i'm not talking about contributing money, a simple prayer will do.

i just needed a place to rant i guess, but if any of you bothered reading this post, then thank you. and i'll be really touched to know if this post actually stirred you within.

to the victims of japan, hawaii, australia, california, and all the other countries affected (or in the warning areas): stay strong you guys. you might never ever chance upon this blog but in case you do, i believe you deserve this spur of encouragement. (haha i'm so silly it feels like i'm talking to myself) but whatever the case, press on alright. if it's not a happy ending, it's not the end yet. Pray Until Something Happens (PUSH). yes, keep PUSHing. non-believers, i'm sure it doesn't hurt to take a few seconds off to pray. you've nothing to lose anyway. that lil prayer can go a long long way, believe it or not.

enough of this foolish post hahaha, just hope you guys understand where i'm coming from. anyway ciaoz. it's 2:41, a new record :)

i'm just done with reading this amazing book - Goddess Boot Camp. honest opinion, i didn't think it was that great until maybe after page 50. it gets a whole lot more interesting. Tera Lynn Childs once again impressed me.

and now i'm quite lost. you know.. when you finished watching the entire series of a drama and you suddenly feel like there's nothing else you want to do because that drama was almost your life and it was just that fab? i'm something like that right now. just that i was absorbed for only a few hours, to complete those 265 pages.

of course i borrowed like 4 other books apart from the one i'm done reading. but not really in the mood to start reading any of them. grown too attached to greek goddesses hahaha i'm so juvenile.

the sera part of me is happy that griffin and phoebe are happily together again, but the geeky part of me just doesn't want to book to end. i can read this forever, just like Oh. My. Gods. oh and Tera Lynn is pure genius, the way she cheekily and wittily "implanted" her previous book title as a swear.

i love her :)

a little down right now because many of my close friends are leaving me. dawn, cam, bk and dengyi left for wuhan this afternoon and they're staying there for good 5 weeks. nic left for nigeria and will only be back 10 days later. eileen left for obs but ok, it's only 4 days.

but still, 0803 has to be the date ALL OF THEM chose to leave hahaha. ok sorry i'm just being emotional and pmsy i guess.

happy thought: Tera Lynn has 2 books that i've not read! i wouldn't say new because i haven't been checking on her. the last time i read Oh. My. Gods., it was in '08 so yupp she has a book released on both '09 and '10. feeling so excited. but it's really fiction, probably not the cup of tea for most of you.

sad thought: if i want to start reading it tomorrow, i got to head down to tampines library to borrow the books. i seriously don't want to travel so far just to get 2 books, maybe 3 if i find one more i like. it's not worth it. either i travel, or i got to wait till 11, when nex opens nlb.

in such a dilemma..

ok enough rantings, thanks for reading this meaningless and whiny post.

p/s i'm glad enough that i'm having holidays - i'll have the time to read. i miss reading.

i'm missing beatty tremendously right now - it was much more than just a home. and all the tweets with #beattyfacts is totally making me feel a major nostalgia.

not wanting to change back to our uniforms after PE..
start running down from class only at 720, hoping we won't be late..
cheering loudly when assembly's in our own classroom..
fried food on wednesdays only..
sneaking food into class..
sneaking bubble tea into school..
mr ng and his 'don't put birds into my mouth'..
taking pictures with fleming's left & right hand rules..
occasional chair falling in the canteen and the everyone there will 'wooooo'..
smelling miss jamie before we can even see here..
she scolding the guys for their non-existent chest hair..
unbuttoned collars.. untucked shirts.. unpinned fringes..
beatty's unbeatable tomyum..
racing with 5Ns to the canteen..
having a war with 5Ns over a teacher..
having the privilege to stay back in class till 6pm 'cause i had the class key..

and really, the list can go on forever..

last thing, i really miss beatty vb.

the sky couldn't make up its mind in the afternoon.. so it decided to rain and be sunny at the same time. humidity could kill.

but that aside, my sister and i went to watch The Last Lumiere!! it was at the top level @ esplanade and we were running late so we rushed all the way and ok, we still got pretty good seats despite being almost late :) free seating you see..

the dance was fab, the ballet was incredible. and the live singers were oh em gee, their voice range is like.. humanely impossible. but of course they couldn't have faked it so i guess i just got to accept that there ARE people with such good vocals.

headed down the eunos because my sister wanted to bring me Vegan Burg but unfortunately, they were closed :( i mean, well it opens till 11 but the last order was at 10 so yupp, a lil too late. going there again tomorrow!

took a train home while my sissy went to meet her friends to eat dimsum :)

yesterday was really great, i know i blogged about it.. but i just thought i shall say it again. i absolutely adore my friends, from the bottom of my heart.

and just talking about our lives.. albeit boring school or exciting sparks of love.. it was soooo :')

had such a fantastic day and really, i haven't laughed so much since a million gazillion years ago. i love my class, a lot :)

so we gave yammy a mini surprise and yay she totally didn't expect it. thanks mela! and had dinner at pizza hut because the plans sort of messed up so yupp, didn't go mind cafe instead. i hope the person doesn't kill me!! i've been changing details on the reservation for like 3 times and in the end, we cancelled it. haha, but yeahhhhhhh :/

had a splendid time catching up with my old mates and it was seriously great. my throat's a little sore for laughing too loudly. straining my throat too much.. which really isn't a good thing at this point of time but gahhhh, worth it (Y)

ended my freshman year with a rather bad bang because the last paper was no where near well done. then again, it's not only the last paper haha :) oh well, leaving everything to the big guy up there for now.

so of course celebration kicks in IMMEDIATELY after the end of our last exam and my class went to kbox! had such a great time getting high and all, and wow, never did i realise how good a singer JJ is. i mean, i know he always sing those oldie songs in class but i never notice how well he sings hahaha, (Y). and he really got the atmosphere up!

sang mu nai yi <3 and yay i sang the treasure trove of lady gaga songs they had! which wasn't exactly as fun as chalet because #1 my voice was disappointing me.. i couldn't hit a lot of notes.. and #2 we weren't hyped yet hehe

had dinner at just acia and clarice and i shared because i needed to save $$ while she wasn't hungry :) it was only us + hun and bobo though haha, the rest left. then we had such a good talk at pasir ris beach and the breeze was like AH-MAZING. so serene.. wish i could camp there.

is this good enough an update? i don't really know what i'm typing though, don't exactly have the feel to blog but i guess i owe you guys one since the lack of updates.

for the daredevils...

so yesterday i caught Black Swan and it was the worst choice i've ever made. haha, don't get me wrong!! i mean i suppose it's a good movie, a really good one in fact. but i've a weak heart you see, i'm not made to watch psycho thrillers hahaha, OMG. and a lot of scenes were cut off so like yeah :/ it wasn't as gross as what everyone says it to be.. which is a great thing! but then again, if you want to look at lesbian sex or something then just watch it online because there's nothing much in the one airing in the cinema ha ha ha ha ha.

i hope you don't though lol.

but yeah, so every single time Nina's (the swan queen) alone, i'd cover my eyes HAHAHA. and then ken will pester me to watch the show because he claims i'm wasting money. my money in exchange of my frail heart..... WORTH IT (A)
